So I just had this great idea for a series of pictures. Since for all those who don't live under a rock or prefer to live in a ignorance is bliss world we know that the economy is going for a free fall. Yes it maybe a slow descent but a downward motion is happening. Anyways I went to the Walker Art Center today and saw an exhibit on suburbia (Worlds Away: New Suburban Landscapes) and the gears started turning. I want to a series of photographs and maybe mixed media pieces on the juxtaposition of the economy and the construction I see every day I go to work. Where is the money coming from,why spend the money on construction when we can save that money to fix the economy. So this is what I want to do but I'm not exactly sure how to execute it and thats where you come in. brainstorm my friends with me and come up with some way I can convey the feeling of helplessness this economic downturn has wrought upon me.
